Mary Jane Huegel is an artist  who specializes in her own Expressionist style. MJ Huegel draws inspiration for her paintings from nature. She has  spent her whole life observing, especially from her childhood memories, of exploring the mountain scenery of Eastern Kentucky. She has recently moved back to the mountains In North Georgia for inspiration and the quieter lifestyle.   She has been actively pursuing her art education for over  25 years with the best instructors in the United States.  Always learning and observing to see inspiration for her next painting.

Huegel, presently shows her artwork at High Country Art in Blue Ridge, GA. and  Sunshine Art Gallery in Watkinsville, GA.

“I find myself dancing between two worlds: a desire to show what I see ... and /or an emotional response to what could be in the spirit!"
